Many of us have been stuck in lockdown wearing the same comfortable clothes day in and day out for so long that we're no longer sure what's in fashion and what's not! But don't worry - we've put together a list of the season's biggest trends to point you in the right direction for a summer of partying, catching up with loved ones, and doing all the things we missed out on for the past year.

1. Crop tops

While these aren't for everyone, there is such a wide variety of crop top styles this year that you're sure to find something you feel good in. If you're not comfortable wearing a super-short style, opt for a longer crop with high-waisted pants or a skirt to show a tiny flash of skin and join in with this youthful summer trend. The crop top is the perfect way to stay - and look - cool this summer when temperatures rise. For a casual take on this look, pair a fitted crop with joggers or mom jeans for a clean silhouette on top and a relaxed one on the bottom. If you're more of a boho girl, go for a 1970s peasant-style crop top with a voluminous maxi skirt for a hippie chick vibe.

2. Puffy sleeves

Puffy sleeves were all the rage in the 1980s, and they're back with a vengeance for 2021. They're great for jazzing up an otherwise sedate outfit and can create a real fashion statement if you go big and bold enough. If your look is more low-key, go for a subtler puffy sleeve. This look can work well with both casual and more formal outfits. There are plenty of fun t-shirts with slightly puffy sleeves, as well as stunning formal dresses with elegantly puffed sleeves to create a splash at any event.

3. Pastel colors

Purple Rose Hoodie

Just about everyone looks good in pastels. If you think you're the exception, you probably just haven't tried the right shade! Our organic cotton hoodies, such as this Purple Rose Hoodie, is perfect for covering up on cooler summer days or evenings and will suit most skin tones and hair colors. Muted pastels are great for a cute, casual daytime look, while brighter and more vibrant pastels can add a pop of color to more formal wear. If you think pastels aren't for you, try a few different colors to find one that complements your coloring - there's everything from pale pinks and yellows to brighter blues and greens in the pastel world.

4. Wide-leg pants

Wide-leg pants

This super-flattering trend has been on top for a couple of years now, and for good reason. Wide-leg pants are comfortable, stylish and suit just about everyone. High-waisted wide pants are extremely flattering to most shapes and are available in just about every color and print under the sun. Team high-waisted pants with a long crop (number 1 in our list!) for a fresh, fun look that can take you from day to night with the right accessories.

5. Sheer fabrics

From fully sheer dresses that need to be worn with statement underwear to tops with sheer sleeves or sheer panels, sheer fabrics are big news this summer. It's really up to you to be as daring as you like with this trend. If you're not into dressing head to toe in a sheer fabric, choose one of the many tops or dresses with subtle sheer inserts. This is a great way to incorporate a trendy look into formal wear in particular. If you're going to a wedding, for example, but don't want to show too much flesh, a formal dress with sheer sleeves or a sheer panel above the neckline is a beautifully elegant way to join in with this trend.

6. Glitter everywhere

Glitter everywhere

From makeup and shoes to hair accessories and clothing, glitter is everywhere at the moment. You can incorporate this trend into your look as subtly or as dramatically as you like. If you want a show-stopping look, opt for super sparkly heels and a clutch for a night out or formal event. For something lower-key, add glittery hair accessories - such as slides or clips - to artfully tousled hair. If you like a glowy makeup look, this season's glitter trend is perfect for you. Choose bronzers and highlighters with subtle flecks of glitter in them to give your face a summery glow, or opt for one of the many dazzling glitter eyeshadows available to add sparkle to your eyes.
